The Trial & Verdict
On the 27th of July I witnessed in court against the man who attacked me in February. He was found guilty in hitting me twice but not for threatening to kill me. He recieved a suspended sentence of 30 days of prison and a trial period of 2 years.
His sentence doesn't make me happy in any way, so please don't leave comments saying he got what he deserved or what ever. Maybe he did and maybe not. I actually think the whole situation is pretty tragic and sad. I'm happy though that the police and other authorities took me seriously and that the case made it to court. It is hard for me to explain, but I'm sad that people with issues doesn't get help before it's to late and they end up with a criminal record.
What is done is done and I'm pleased to move on with my life. It is in the past now and as the saying goes 'if it doesn't kill you it only makes you stronger' :)
