I know. I said I was sticking to 2on2off on the dog walk, but I still suck at maintaining criteria in competition! So I spend the last two month retraining Poncho to a running Dog walk.
This is how it looks so far. The height of the dog walk is 70 cm and Poncho's rate of success is 99%.
I am so pleased with him and he loves this way of performing the obstacle. It suits me and my handling style so much better than 2on2off. My plan is to teach Liva running contacts as well, but I have to work on my skills with those 2on2off because Bob is trained to do so.
Still hoping Zap might be able to run agility. He's gained a lot of weight and is actually beginning to look like a real dog.
